Our Task Force is a community / law enforcement partnership comprised of
various organizations; concerned parent and youth groups, numerous
public and private agencies, responsible alcohol retailers, civic
organizations, and all law enforcement agencies within Cobb County.

Goal
of the Cobb Under Age Drinking Task Force:

Limit
alcohol availability to underage youth.

Increase community organizing around
the issues of underage drinking and adult provision of alcohol to minors.
-
Shift
community underage drinking
norms from acceptance of underage drinking as a rite-of-passage to an
acceptance of underage drinking as the unhealthy and illegal activity that
it is.
