Law Enforcement Goals:

  • Increase number of compliance check operations so that 100% of alcohol outlets are checked a minimum of once per year and those found in violation are re-checked within the year

  •  Increase data collection and analysis to include 100% of alcohol outlets; regulatory, enforcement and prosecutorial components of local government alcohol control

  • Increase participating agency use of standardized alcohol enforcement protocols in officer/deputy training

        Law Enforcement Activities:

  • Conduct regular and re-check compliance check operations
  • Collect and compile criminal incident data involving alcohol (incl. compliance checks), among participating agencies; report quarterly
  • Collect and analyze data among jurisdictions, linking regulatory, enforcement and prosecutorial components of local government alcohol control; prepare report w/GIS maps to assist in assessing strengths and weaknesses in local alcohol policies and practices
  • Develop and implement officer/deputy training so that standardized alcohol control/enforcement intervention protocols become part of all officer/deputy training in all participating agencies
