Public Policy Goals:

• Present tailored alcohol policy recommendations for remaining jurisdictions 

• Assist Cities of Marietta, Austell and Acworth in considering adoption of mandatory RASS Policy Workshop attendance for alcohol licensees

• Develop and deliver presentations to elected and government officials 

• Report adoption of policy recommendations by jurisdiction

        Public Policy Activities:

• Deliver previously prepared report and present recommended alcohol policies to City of Marietta elected officials

• Develop, prepare and present alcohol policy recommendations to the Cities of Acworth and Austell

• Provide technical assistance to Cobb Parks Department in setting alcohol policies and protocols in keeping with best practice standards

• Present NAS/IOM report findings and policy recommendations to elected officials, including members of the judiciary, i.e. Solicitor, DA, Judges, etc.

• Assess local judicial practices and rulings on underage drinking and adult provision of alcohol to minors cases

• Review of Cobb County Alcoholic Beverage Code, Public Policy Best Practices, and Recommendations
• Review of Marietta Alcoholic Beverage Code, Public Policy Best Practices, and Recommendations
• Review of Smyrna Alcoholic Beverage Code, Public Policy Best Practices, and Recommendations
