The Cobb Underage Drinking Task Force is an organization comprised of representatives from concerned parent and youth groups, numerous public and private agencies, responsible alcohol retailers, citizen’s organizations, county and city governments, and all eight law enforcement agencies in Cobb County. The task force works to help reduce youth access to alcohol, underage drinking, and its often-tragic consequences. The Cobb Underage Drinking Task Force develops comprehensive enforcement, education and policy strategies for limiting youth access to alcohol. It is one of several original sites funded by the Governor’s Office Children and Youth Coordinating Council through support from the U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
